Fox News: "Lady Gaga Calls on Harry Reid To Repeal 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' vs. MSNBC "Gaga speaks, Reid acts on 'don't ask-don't tell". Although both Fox News and MSNBC chose the news value of  prominence and celebrity, with the partnership of Lady Gaga and Harry Reid appearing in the head lines they both used slightly different approaches to news value. MSNBC begins right on the shock value with the statement  "Does Lady Gaga run the U.S. Senate?". Where as Fox News just stated in a mater of fact way staying in the news value of concrete. Both stories definitely hit the value of heart,and definitely had an impact that resonated with the reader.
